Fully furnished first-floor bedroom in a sunny two-bedroom unit of a historic two-family house in Arlington. The neighborhood is quiet, historic, beautiful, and very safe. Easy access to reliable bus service to Harvard Square, Tufts University,... Alewife "T" stop, etc. via several bus lines. Nearby Minuteman Bikeway provides a safe and pleasant commute to Harvard and Tufts, as well as to MIT and Boston via the Charles River bike trails. It is also a great recreational bike path to Lexington, Belmont, and Concord, as well as various hiking areas around. The house is within walking distance of the historic vibrant Arlington Center with lovely shops and great and varied restaurants, as well as Stop & Shop, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's (to say nothing of the many ethnic deli shops). Several farm shops are within easy driving distance.

The bedroom is fully furnished and includes a queen bed with a new mattress, a desk with plenty of storage, an armchair, bedside storage, bookcases, a large Smart TV, and a full closet. Linens and towels are provided. The bathroom is shared with one person. We don't have central AC, but there are window units available. The house has been fully weatherized and has new triple-glazed windows, so it is very comfortable. You will have full access to the living areas of the house (living room, dining, kitchen), the basement with washer and dryer, the small back porch, and the quaint backyard that we consider our extra "outdoor green dining room" with a grill. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking amenities including a double-oven stove and a wine cooler.
